PCA PEEL WITH HYDROQUINONE
This enhanced Jessner’s formula is for those who want an even skin tone and have no sensitivity to hydroquinone. This peel helps promote an even skin tone and a clear complexion. PCA Peel® with hydroquinone is an excellent treatment option for those with dark spots left behind by breakouts.
Key Ingredients: Lactic Acid (14%) – an (AHA) naturally found in milk and sugars.

PCA PEEL WITH HYDROQUINONE & RESORCINOL
The most potent of our enhanced Jessner’s formulas, this peel will even skin tone and provide more exfoliation for oilier, thicker, and more resilient skin types. It is extremely effective on sun-damaged and thickened skin. It is also excellent for those with active or cystic acne, asphyxiated skin (dry on the surface, oily underneath), or those who require deeper treatment. This chemical peel option can offer extreme peeling for several days.

Most frequent questions and answers
Superficial peels can be used to improve a variety of different skin conditions, which include:
- Age spots

- Unusual skin pigmentations
- Severe or recurring outbreaks of cold sores

It takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on the area(s) treated and if additional “add-ons” are selected.
Downtime is very minimal, usually 1 day. Patients may experience mild redness, and irritation depending on skin type, although it is very rare.
We recommend 3-4 treatments 2 weeks apart for maximum results.
- Avoid smoking
- Do not tan for 5-7 days prior to the treatment
- Wait two weeks before your next appointment if you had microdermabrasion, aesthetic injectables, or chemical peels.
- Avoid sun exposure for 24-48 hours after treatment
- Apply high-quality mineral based sun screen (40+) daily
- Stop using retinol a few days before and a few days after treatment.
- Avoid waxing or laser treatments 5-7 days before and after treatment.
- Certain medications may interact with the acids in the peels, such as tetracyclines, antihistamines, NSAID’s, and some acne medications. Please consult with your dermatologist or doctor if you currently take some of these medications.
