We use three different types of lasers in our office, (Diode, IPL, and nd:YAG) so we are able to provide the absolute best treatment based on your hair and skin type, treatment area, and condition you wish to treat.
Preparing for your laser hair removal treatment:
- Avoid sun exposure before and after your treatment. If you are in the sun, use a broad-spectrum, SPF 30 sunscreen.
- Shave or trim the treatment area the day before your scheduled laser treatment. You don’t want to leave hair above the skin to avoid damage from burnt hairs.
- Discuss with your doctor which medications you should avoid before treatments. You may need to avoid things like blood thinners and anti-inflammatory drugs.
- Do not pluck, wax, or use electrolysis for at least four weeks before treatment.
Suggested treatments and the associated costs are shown on our website but the final cost may be different from the one booked depending on factors such as skin condition, size of area treated, the removal location, density, and amount of hair. Vascular Laser Therapy
The laser we use focuses on red blood cells, found in vascular lesions. The laser heats these cells, without harming or damaging the surrounding tissues, and the blood vessel breaks down. The laser works best if the skin is not tanned. Results of spider vein treatment are permanent, but new veins may develop. Any new veins can be easily treated with laser.
